1. How can I order my special event customized sweet?

Your special event customized sweet can be ordered contacting us by phone at 919-346-7173.  We also welcome you to come to our lil’ PopUp to meet with us.

  1. How far in advance do I need to order a cake?

We would like 7 days notice for your order; however, we can create a cake with minimal customization in as little as 72 hours.  Orders needed in less than 72 hours may be charged a rush fee.

  1. When do I pay for my order ?

We ask that all orders be paid upon order booking.  If the order is placed AND accepted the week of the event, payment must be made immediately upon receipt of the invoice prior to any sweet preparation.  Late fees for non-payment will be charged.

  1. Do you charge late fees?

Yes, we charge a late fee when payment is not received when services are rendered.  Late fees will be applied daily.

  1. What payment methods do you accept?

Cash, American Express, Discover, Visa and MasterCard are accepted.  Payments can be made through the link provided in most invoices.  Personal Checks are accepted on a case-by-case basis.

  1. Do you require deposits?

At this time, deposits for orders are handled on an individual basis.  A non-refundable $75 reservation deposit required for Weddings or events that are two months or more out.  There is a 50% deposit required for the following services:  Party Classes & Cake orders over $100.

  1. Do you provide refunds?

We are unable to provide refunds due to the tedious, handcrafted nature of our customized cakes, cupcakes, cookies, cake pops and push pops. 

  1. Do you charge for delivery?

Yes, we charge for delivery.  Deliveries are arranged on a case-by-case basis.  Delivery fees are calculated by distance traveled and set-up time.  Delivery within the Goldsboro area starts at $15.

All orders must be picked up from the PopUP at 123 N. Center ST., Goldsboro, NC  27530.   While it is generally not a problem for clients to transport smaller cakes, self-transporting any cake is at your own risk.  We are not responsible for any damage that may occur to any client-transported cake once it has left our possession.

  1. Can I come and pick my order up?

Yes.  Orders can be picked up from the PopUp.

  1. Do you have same day cakes available?

Same day cakes are usually not on hand for purchase.  Every cake is made-to-order.  Feel free to call us in the evening, before the celebration, to see if we are available to create a sweet for you.

  1. Do you ship any of your sweets?

Our current sweet shipments are for cookies, Doggie bone Sweets and our Cake Pop Sweets.  Shipping fees vary.

  1. Do you offer allergen-free cakes?  nut-free?  gluten free?

Pink Piggy Sweets® wants everyone to be able to enjoy our sweets.  Upon request we can carefully prepare special-order allergen-free items: nut-free, gluten-free and vegan.  However; we are not a dedicated allergen-free bakery.  We try our best to eliminate the possibility of cross contamination by using proper equipment sanitization.  We also prepare each allergen-free item separately and individually.  Most items prepared for our PopUp are nut-free.  Please inquire during your visit for those items.  We also ask that you use your discretion when ordering if you or someone you love has a food-sensitivity.

  1. What is the pricing for custom cakes?

Our buttercream iced cakes start at $40.  Our fondant iced cake pricing starts at $75.  Customization outside of “Happy Celebration” is additional.  The overall price is determined by the color(s), design complexity, cake construction and time to create a cake.  Usually with customization you will average about $4.50 per person + up with buttercream design and about $5.95 per person + up for fondant designs.

  1. What is the best way to store my cake/cupcake?

Our cake and cupcake sweets are baked fresh for your event and should be stored at room temperature for serving.  For leftover sweets, we recommend those items be cut into individual slices and wrapped carefully and placed in your freezer.  Since our sweets are best consumed at room temperature it’s best to thaw your sweet for 2-3 hours before serving (depending on cake size).  Refrigeration of the sweet is not recommended for longer than 24 hours after an event.  Refrigeration has a tendency to dry out the cake.  The freezer is best.

  1. What is the best way to store my Doggie sweets?

Our Doggie sweets have no preservatives.  Keep in a cool dry place out of direct sunlight.   Keep in a zippered plastic bag or an air-tight container in the refrigerator or freezer.

  1. Do you rent cupcake tree display stands?

We do not rent cupcake tree display stands.  Please contact Ram Rentals in Goldsboro and tell them Pink Piggy sent you!

  1. Do you rent cake pop and/or push pop displays?

We recommend our clients to RAM Party Center for cake, cupcakes and cake pop display rentals.  They are located at 2722 Graves Drive in Goldsboro, NC  27534.  They can be reached at 919-778-7500.

  1. What is fondant?

Fondant is  a sugar dough that is rolled out and placed over the iced cake for a smooth finish.

  1. Are the Party Classes just for children?

Party classes are for everyone’s enjoyment from ages 5 and up!  No matter what the occasion, Pink Piggy Sweets can come and teach your group how to make and decorate cookies, cupcakes, or cake.

  1. Do you accept reviews?
